WHAT IT IS

Controlled renewal, from the inside out.

Microneedling works by creating thousands of precise, microscopic channels in the skin using a medical-grade device. These micro-injuries are too small to cause lasting damage but they are enough to trigger your body's wound-healing cascade: increased collagen production, new elastin formation, and accelerated skin cell turnover.

We use the SkinPen Precision, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device in the United States. Its patented BioSheath technology protects against cross-contamination, and its adjustable needle depth (0.25–2.5 mm) allows us to precisely tailor treatment to your skin's needs and the area being addressed.

More than texture.

Microneedling is one of the most versatile skin treatments available. It stimulates change at the dermal level, below the surface , which is where lasting improvement happens.

Fine lines & wrinkles

Particularly effective around the eyes, mouth, and forehead where early aging appears

Acne scarring

Breaks up scar tissue and promotes healthy collagen remodeling in depressed scars

Enlarged pores

Tightens and minimizes the appearance of pores through collagen support around follicles

Uneven skin tone

Supports turnover of pigmented cells and improves overall luminosity and clarity

Stretch marks

Stimulates remodeling in striae, improving texture and reducing contrast over time

Skin laxity

Rebuilds the scaffolding of the dermis for firmer, more resilient-feeling skin

What to expect, step by step.

Consultation & skin assessment

We review your skin history, goals, and any contraindications. This shapes the needle depth, number of passes, and whether any adjunct treatments such as topical serums applied during the treatment are appropriate for you.

Topical numbing

A prescription-grade numbing cream is applied and left on for 30–45 minutes before we begin. Most patients find the procedure comfortable to well-tolerated.

Treatment

The SkinPen is passed over the treatment area in a controlled, systematic pattern. The device is adjusted in real time based on skin thickness and your tolerance. A full face treatment typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Soothing & aftercare

We apply a calming serum or mask post-treatment. You'll leave with written aftercare instructions and product recommendations to support healing at home.

Downtime

Expect redness and mild swelling for 24–72 hours, similar to a moderate sunburn. Most patients return to work within 1–2 days with mineral makeup as coverage. Peeling or dryness is common in the days following and is a normal part of the renewal process.

Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) and direct sun exposure for at least one week post-treatment. SPF 30+ is non-negotiable during healing.

When you'll see results

Initial improvements in skin radiance and texture often appear within 2–4 weeks as cellular turnover accelerates. The deeper benefit( new collagen and elastin ) continues to develop over the following 3–6 months.

A series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart typically yields the most noticeable and lasting change. Maintenance sessions 1–2 times per year help preserve results.

Who it's for - and who it isn't.

Microneedling is appropriate for most skin types and tones. Because it stimulates the skin's own processes rather than using heat or light, it carries a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation than some laser treatments making it a strong option for deeper skin tones.

Microneedling may not be appropriate if you have active acne breakouts in the treatment area, certain skin conditions (like eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea in a flare), a history of keloid scarring, or are currently pregnant. A thorough consultation allows us to identify any contraindications before we proceed.
